Paddeln auf dem Adjaristskali

Der Adjaristskali ist vom Schwarzmeer Klima beeinflusst. Im unteren Teil ist er Kilometerweit paddelbar. Von der Strasse sieht diese Strecke sehr gut aus (WW II-III+). Im Oberlauf gibts eine Schlucht.

(Khulo Gorge), WW (IV-V), April-June (with high water levels the river gets very fast and dangerous, check the best put-in above Khulo and the best take-out below Khulo yourself, one canyon with a siphon passage and waterfall, very difficult access and check, WW VI-X), GET OUT before the gorge gets steep and the walls un-climbable. Beautiful rapids between huge boulders, fair but with siphons. Only for experienced kayakers. ***
Lower parts of the river look easier from the road (WW II-III), need to be checked.
